Lost_Similar_Links__ahrefs_com_blog_on_Ahrefs.png Generally, the reasons for "broken links" can be divided into two groups. Related to the linked page: 404 not found – We consider links from the linked page to be “lost” because the page was not accessible during the most recent recrawl (unless the page is marked as “live” during the next recrawl). If it can be determined, it will be added again). Noindex - This is a case where links from the destination page have a "noindex" attribute, so links from it are not counted (this is a debatable decision, but we decided to do it this way for the time being).
301/302 Redirect – The linked page redirects to another location. Note that if the redirected page has a link Turks and Caicos Islands Email List targeting your domain or page, it will be immediately reflected in your backlink profile. Dropped – These pages have been removed from the index for various reasons (e.g. the domain no longer exists) and as a result the links have also been removed. Crawl errors – Indicates that during a recrawl (for AhrefsBot), the page being linked to returned an HTTP status code different from 200 (OK) to the crawler. (However, if it is live during the next scheduled re-crawl, we will add it back to the report.) And here's what's relevant to the actual link: Link removed - The page being linked to is still alive, but the link to the target domain or page is no longer there. Broken redirect – The destination page and link are in good condition. However, the link was reaching the target via several redirects, one of which has stopped working, so the link is now sort of "disconnected" from the target.
